The Beginning
From a bean to a young plant
Coffee sprouts, picked from the best fields just after the rains, are replanted in pots at the nursery. In the nursery the young plants are nurtured for 18 months before being replanted in the fields. In the field great care is given to the young plants so they grow into healthy coffee bushes. In the third year of planting in the field the young plants start flowering which lead into coffee berries. Thereafter the plants produce each year and are controlled by the pruning cycle.
